The ICU

Good morning from the Sacred Heart Medical Center ICU. Kelly is resting very peacefully and has been breathing on her own without the use of the tube for the past couple of hours now. Her voice is a little scratchy and she talks quietly but she is a complete trooper. The Dr. came in early this morning and indicated that everything is OUT and she will need to spend one more night in the ICU. They will transfer her into the normal room tomorrow morning where she will stay through the weekend. The ICU nurse indicated that the next time the Neurosurgeon wanted to see Kelly was in 3 months for a follow up.
