It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Even better than Millie's reaction to Santa are Murphy's shoes. Let's be honest. We got the bag of hand-me-downs from Jett* and he found the shoes. I'm pretty sure there wasn't snow on the ground the day we saw the Fat Man, but it is winter! True depiction of me picking my battles.
*Jett is three inches taller and almost a year younger. Murphy told the babysitter he has a cousin Jettie who is "ginormous."

I cannot believe today is December 18th. It's so cliche, but time has seriously flown. (I guess when you miss a chunk of November, that'll happen.) The kids and I leave on Sunday for Utah until Christmas Eve morning. Then we'll have a nice three day weekend with Trevor followed by a week of sleeping in, staying in jammies, and playing with new toys (mainly reading new books). Then a four day weekend for Trevor, which will be fun to relax and do nothing but play. Then the routine starts again, but we'll not focus on that just yet. I am so excited for some much needed time off as a family! First priority!
