Murphy and Millie asked me to set up the sprinkler.   I agreed (after I had pressure washed a bunch of the stuff I needed to pressure wash) and was in hysterics watching these clowns.  Georgia was inside reading or watching a movie (she vacillates between the two)/babysitting (being on guard in case Charlie woke up).  Charlie is still a bit under the weather.  She's just not her happy self.  She never cries for apparently no reason, and she's been doing a lot of that these days.  Poor little girl.  I'm hoping she wakes up tomorrow and is completely content (and actually eats!).  She has to...I am playing tennis and she has no choice but to behave in the "play area."

The weather isn't really all that hot still, so I'm loving being outside and working in the yard.  If only it would stay like this all summer.  I'm sure, however, when we get back from the lake after the 4th, it will be ghetto-AC-units-in-the-windows-time once again.

Millie was enthralled with a Ziploc baggie.  Maybe my addiction is rubbing off...

I love this sequence...and Millie was content in the background with filling her baggie with water.

Charlie finally woke up and came outside to join in the fun.

Such a goof ball!

I have a feeling there will be many more sprinkler days in the near future.  Cheap entertainment!
Happy boy.
I told Trevor tonite, I love this about summer.  We are two days in to no school weeks.  I have gotten a lot of little projects started.  I have pressure washed the deck and front walkway (haven't finished all of the driveway or sidewalk yet), gotten the sander, picked out a stain color, and gotten the little garden fence ready to install.  I have put away one suitcase worth of clothes from our trip.  Wait, I lied.  I unpacked the suitcase and put the clothes in laundry baskets in the correct closets...where they are waiting to be put away.  I have to go through Charlie's clothes because she has outgrown so much, so that is what's holding me up there.  I did, however, go through the basement bedroom closet and weed out a decent sized Good Will pile.  And the entry closet is cleaned out of winter gear (which now resides neatly in the basement storage room).  The heavy jackets, etc. that don't fit in the closet in the basement will be hung on my garment rack (which Trevor promises he will bring home for me next month - I guess they're big rental items of late as it is yard sale season).  Next on my agenda for the room in the basement is to get the Budget Blinds man in to measure so my poor dad will have some privacy when he comes to visit!

Whew...a lot has been accomplished and it's only just the beginning of summer.  We have a lot of little projects going on, and by the time the school year rolls around again, this place is going to be looking awfully sweet!
