I love this card.
We had Murphy's birthday party today, and boy was it fun!! I did literally NOTHING to prepare for the party. Yesterday I hit up the grocery store for snacks and to order the cake. Everything else was left for today. Trevor brought home the usual: tables, chairs, linens, jump castle, spin art machine, slushie machine, and even the cotton candy machine. (Thank God we own the joint!) Another A to Z sponsored event that didn't fail to disappoint. The kids played so well the entire time. I did nothing in terms of organized games or activities. Nothing. I have the best friends...they take the initiative to do whatever they see fit. I just keep supplying the libations. Everyone had a great time. No tears at all...and when we're dealing with about 20 kids for two and a half hours, I'd say that's a good deal.
Look at all of those Lego boxes behind Murphy. And look at his Lego shirt (he wore yesterday and asked me to wash it so he could wear again today for his party).

Drum sticks from the Wilsons from their trip to Mexico. Let's just say they've been put to use already.
|
After having not seen each other for two weeks, they were pretty excited!!

The best nanny ever.

I couldn't resist taking pictures of Jake.
Happy birthday, Murph Dog. You truly bring a smile to the faces of EVERYONE. Boy are we lucky you are our Murph Doggy Dog. The best I could imagine.
