I can't believe it's almost Christmas break. We have no snow, so it doesn't really feel like the Fat Man will be here soon. We have been so busy with activities and parties and friend visits that the time just flies way too quickly. Trevor drives to Utah Saturday early early morning (with the dogs), and the kids and I fly there in the afternoon. We're hoping to time it just right so he picks us up at SLC. Trevor turns around and flies home Sunday to work for the week, then flies back on the 23rd. The kids, dogs and I will be there for two weeks. Two weeks of ski school and horseback riding. Brynn is there most of that time too, and Molly and the kids will make their way right around Christmas. Really excited to play!
I have completely not done well with blogging. Oh well, life goes on. The activities still go on. And then some...
I missed Molly's birthday on Saturday. Wow. What a wonderful sister I am.
Georgia and Millie have started ballet. It's pretty cute. That makes ballet, Irish dance, piano, gymnastics and horseback riding for Georgia. Millie's schedule includes ballet, piano, gymnastics and swimming. Murphy now adds horseback riding to drums and gymnastics, and he is now signed up for soccer beginning in January. Charlie continues to rock it in the play area. I play tennis Mondays and Fridays and ride Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and once or twice more each week.
That brings me to horses: I've asked Santa for my own horse. I love Roxy girl still. She's great. I'm really learning what it takes to own a horse (since her owner doesn't do crap). Georgia loves taking lessons on her. The "problem": I'm LOVING Western. I want an all-around horse...one that I can ride hunt, Western, the kids can ride, I can learn a lot on....so, Santa, there you go. I will forever love Roxy. I will feel the need to take care of her, because she deserves to be taken care of. I will really love my horse. Trevor can't believe (being allergic) he will own a horse. Believe it or not, IT'S COMING TRUE, TLK. :)
And now, pictures of what we've been up to.....
