I have completely neglected my poor camera for the last week. For good reason. We have been on the go. Nonstop. We have had activities every day after school (except Tuesdays) and get-togethers with friends. We're still getting in to the routine of all the new fun things (including Charlie). I have managed to leave the house clean, dressed, and with makeup every day thus far. Have to. I haven't felt better. I think I'm on a constant high...simply elated. We have a few more meltdowns than usual, but I'm sure it's just an adjustment phase. When they're naughty, they're naughty, but when they're sweet it seems like they're extra sweet. I'll deal.
Georgia is loving first grade. She's meeting lots of new friends and loving seeing her old friends from kindergarten. She wants to run cross country and can't wait for art club to start up after school. She has been Ms. Sassafrass lately, but it will pass. Swim team starts next week, so 2-3 days a week she'll be in the pool for an hour. That's in addition to violin, gymnastics and Irish dance. No wonder she sleeps so hard at night!
Murphy is in school five days a week in the mornings. He loves both schools. He came home from the Spanish school today saying "Como te llamas tu?" and he actually sounded like a little Mexican kid! And he continues to love his girl friends at All Saints. He is in swimming, gymnastics, and starts soccer next week.
Millie is...two. No other explanation necessary. She does love Spanish school. Tells me what she did at school just like the big kids. Pretty cute. She starts group swimming lessons next week, and I have a feeling she'll want to play in the "play area" (child care) instead, but we'll give it a go.
Charlie is adorable. Jinxing myself for sure, but she's an easy, content baby. I think I deserve an low maintenance baby this go around. She is kissed ALL day long!!
Good news from my follow-up MRI - don't have to go back for a year. There was no re-growth, and everything looks great. I knew the situation was stressing me out, but I didn't know to what extent until my neurologist told me "I wouldn't worry about anything." I could literally feel the weight lift off of my shoulders! I haven't felt this good since probably a year ago. And I'm not even sure I felt THIS good then!
