Spring Break

*Warning: lots of cute pictures ahead!*
Suitcases are halfway unpacked.  Well, the are unpacked (sitting empty, ready to go to their homes in the basement until our next journey) and the clothes are in piles ready to go to their homes.  Tomorrow I will catch up with all of that.  I went to Costco today, so our fridge no longer looks like it did the first day we got it.  I vacuumed downstairs, mopped the kitchen, and put away my swimsuits.  Again, tomorrow, I will put the warm weather clothes in their temporary home where they will hopefully reside only a short time until I can wear them again.
A face without freckles is like a sky without stars...

Cool guy.

Poor Nan.  She had a rough go at the museum.

This week in Hawaii was great.  I needed the sun.  Well, I needed the shade and the warm weather.  I needed the daily walks around Diamond Head with my mom.  I needed the break from daily life.  However, daily life does still consist of big time sassiness.
Scary Menehuni!

Poor Nani was almost eaten!

I love this picture.  It's so telling.  Charlie looking at her mama smiling, Georgia all smiles, Murphy being silly and Millie uncooperative.

Another run-in with the dinosaur.

However, I am afraid I am finding it difficult to get into the routine again.  It has only been one day back home, but I can't get motivated to do it all just yet.  I'm sure I'll find that motivation quickly when my alarm clock Charlie wakes up bright and early tomorrow, and I have to get her, Georgia, Murph, Millie and myself dressed and fed and ready to go for the day.  And when I have to take Georgia then Murphy to school and go to Zumba then Millie's swim lesson.  And when I have to pick up Murphy, feed everyone lunch, do all of my chores, plan dinner, pick up Georgia, head to the club for Murphy's swimming and Georgia's swim team.  And then shower everyone and eat dinner...oh my gosh I'm tired already.

Surprised by the dinosaurs.
Silly swimmer
Back to Hawaii.  We did it all.  The Waikiki Aquarium, Bishop Museum (cool dinosaur exhibit!), Trevor took the kids to the zoo, Ala Moana, Outrigger daily and the pool.  The kids loved the pool.  Murphy learned to dive, and Millie was a total fish.  We couldn't get her out of the pool.  She kept saying "I can swim by myself" and she would take off.  Kind of scary.  We WILL keep up those lessons!  We went nonstop.  Absent a few Millie meltdowns at the condo, the kids were amazing.  Such good, fun, happy travelers. They are just the best.  Georgia just loves life.  Finds the positive in everything.  She is little Mary Sunshine. Murphy is just classic.  What a sense of humor.  Millie is amazing.  You never know what personality you'll get.  Spicy.  And sweet, sweet Charlie.  Delicious.

Murph got new Legos from the Lego store.  And a new shirt from the Aquarium.  A little thrilled.

He learned to dive!

Mil has turned in to a fish!

Best swim teacher!
