What a great day

Millie got to spend the day at school with Murphy. Such a big kid. This was the third time she was given this opportunity. Mrs. Kelly said Millie is better behaved than so many of the five year olds. I love it because she is such a little shit at home lately.

With 3/4 at school, I went to the dermatologist where I had a few precancerous spots frozen off and one biopsied. Fingers crossed it comes back okay.

Charlie and I went to pick up M and M from school and came away with just Millie. Murphy went his other family. Our friends Lisa and Rich have an equally (or more) Lego-obsessed son, Andrew. He and Murphy play at least three days a week. Good fun. Anyways, while Lisa,Rich and i were talking, Murphy and Andrew got into their car and buckled in. No point in getting him out. He didn't come home until dinner time.

Millie, Charlie and I stopped by Georgia's school to drop something at the office and realized it was lunch time. Georgia has asked me a few times in the past few weeks to join her for lunch. I felt so badly for not having done it. I used the excuse of being busy or tied down with the other three kids. in actuality, it was so easy! Georgia is the sweetest, kindest kid. We met her in her classroom and she instantly held Millie's hand and took her under her wing. She lifted her up for a drink from the water fountain when Millie said she was thirsty. In the lunch room, Georgia asked the lady for a chocolate milk for her little sister. Millie sat between Georgia and her friend, and across from two others. Georgia shared her lunch with Millie. Next stop: recess. My initial though was, "Oh I want to go home. I'm hungry, Charlie is going to get hungry soon, I have an entire house to clean..." I went with it though. And boy am I glad I did. Georgia and her friends took care of Millie, playing on all of the equipment, running on the field, and talking story. Melted my heart. When the second bell rang, I told Georgia we were heading out (the side gate). She said "Wait! I want you to meet my friend that I saw at the Spokane Club at swimming." Well, I walk over and met the nicest woman, the recess duty lady. Bless Georgia's heart. Her friend. I love my daughter.

Amazingly enough, Charlie and Millie fell asleep at the same time and I rapidly cleaned and got stuff accomplished.

After Millie (on her bike), Charlie (in the backpack), Harley and I picked up Georgia from Sign Language after school, we headed to the store for some ingredients for cake pops and dinner...not necessarily in that order.

Murphy got home, Trevor and Mason came home, we ate our fave Thai peanut noodles with broccoli and bell peppers, made the cake (the first step in making the cake pops), and the kids all watched a movie while Trevor hit the sack and I got to catch up on my DVRed shows as I folded laundry.

Ahhh and it's the weekend. Fun days ahead. Easter at the club, Murphy's first TBall game, and checking things off the ever-growing to do list. Looking forward to it all!
