Georgia, Murphy, Charlie and I took Millie to her first day of preschool at All Saints today! The big kids start school next week, so they were happy to be able to accompany me to drop off the little fricker.
She had a great time, was totally content, and said she was excited to go back. Good.
That didn't stop her from having a complete meltdown, once again, this evening.
Preface:
Di came over to watch my kids while I took her two to Manito for a photo session. This was following a (short) school day and playing at the house for several hours. When I got back to the house with Maddie and James, we all ate dinner and continued to play. I was giving tubs at 8 and apparently that was half an hour too late for Millie. Let's just say when she was allowed to get off the basement stairs and finally calmed down, she requested a hug. All I could say was "I can't right now. I'm too angry." How horrible is that. I just couldn't be in the same room. She is not nice, defiant, and down right bad. Many factors play in to this, I'm sure, but wow.
Then she's sweet Millie once again. Night and day.
