Time is flying!

Where have the days gone?! We are happily in our little routine.  Make that BIG routine.  Everyone is having fun, behaving, making new friends, learning, and making memories.

Everyone.

Charlie: This kid is out of control.  She is a hurricane.  She can walk through a room and turn it upside down in a minute.  She came into the kitchen today and in a matter of seconds she had taken out the place mats from the cupboard, half a dozen bunny cracker packs, gnawed through a pack of crackers, hung upside down on the stove, and fed Harley her string cheese.  She is an extremely happy little tyke...just has to be in on everyone's business, and hanging with the big kids.  She is such a good girl at the "play area" at the club...just cruises around playing with toys.  This is imperative since I have been dropping the kids there and going riding several times a week.

Millie: While we have minor meltdowns (especially at night following a really long day), Mil has been great.  We are always on the go, and she just chills.  Tuesdays and Thursdays are All Saints Preschool.  Millie is having a great time.  She "listens well" according to her teacher.  Um...ok.  Wednesdays is German, and (possibly because she gets to ride in her friend's cars since finally I have a carpool schedule going with a few friends/neighbors) she has done great so far!  No tears or fits.  This is a huge relief for me.  Millie started piano lessons, so she is really feeling like a big kid now.

That reminds me...I have to make Millie a lunch for German tomorrow.

Murphy: Kindergarten is going great.  He has got to be the cutest little guy with his big backpack on.  Our new neighbors are great.  Grace is in Murphy's class (in afternoon kindergarten), so they're happy going to and from school together.  Mrs. Courchaine says Murphy is listening well and has been fun.  He has made a few friends in his class so far (I LOVE his confidence in meeting new people) and has asked to have a few play dates. And we've only been in school a week.  Drum lessons are going great...but I think I have learned my lesson.  No candy before his lesson.  His hands were drumming faster than I had ever seen!  He gets candy at the end of German, and we run from German to drums/piano.

I LOVE that Murphy is in afternoon kindergarten.  I requested morning, but am pleasantly surprised at how wonderful PM has been.  He, Charlie and I get to have our time in the mornings (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday when Mil is at school), then he goes to school and we get to do the same with Millie.  Murphy, Charlie and I went to A to Z to kill time before Costco opened.  He pretty much begged for a Lego thing even before we got to Costco (because he heard his friend's mom talking about Costco stocking toys now...).  He begged in a nice way.  And said "I promise I'll listen to everything you say for the rest of my life."  Oh, in that case, here's your new toy!  The thing I loved (LOVED) was before he started looking for something for himself, he was looking for "prizes" for his sisters.  What an awesome kid.

Murphy had his first sleepover this weekend with Andrew and his family at their lake cabin at Diamond Lake.  He came home and cried.  Overwhelmed I guess.  Bless his heart.  He is my favorite boy in the world.

Side note funny: We were looking at a map and saw the compass star thing.  He said "look!!! Diamond Lake is on this map!"

Georgia: This kids continues to amaze.  I love her from here to forever.  I took her for her riding lesson today.  She was the happiest I have ever seen her.  She said "This is the best day of my life!  I got two pieces of candy at school - one for getting and 'A' and one for sharing my work with the class.  And then I got home and saw this doll.  (Murphy picked an Madame Alexander Girlz doll...in horseback riding clothes!!) THEN I get to go horseback riding."

Happy to make you happy, sweet Georgia girl.

Trevor: He came home saying how well business is going.  That makes me happy.  He deserves for things to go well; he works like a madman.  I hope the kids get his work ethic. I love hearing the things that are going on at the stores.  I love that he's in charge of making those things happen.  And I love that Trevor has a job that he likes and is good at...and he doesn't travel!!!!

Last but not least: I have NEVER been happier.  I feel almost euphoric.  Everything is working for me and my family.  There is nothing weighing me down.  I am going to attribute this to riding horses.  I'm addicted.  It is my drug.  I am high all day long on the day I ride.  Karen (my trainer...doesn't that sound official...) is looking for a horse for me (and my mom).  She narrowed it down to one in Oklahoma.  Nationals is in Oklahoma next month, so  they're going to take a look at him and see if he's going to be a good fit.  I couldn't be more excited.  My fifth baby.

I love meeting new people.  I remember the days of social phobia when Georgia was little and I wouldn't want to have people over because I was too social phobic.  I love that I'm meeting new parents from each kid's classroom.  Nice people.

And another thing that makes me REALLY happy - I have Mila coming Mondays from 9-2  I can ride first thing (after I take Georgia to school), work out and shower at the club, and volunteer in Georgia's and Murphy's classroom!!  Mila does the Murphy drop off at school.  I have felt guilty since Georgia was in kindergarten because I  had a babies and couldn't volunteer.  Now I can!!!

Bed time.  Haven't been sleeping much because a) I'm nervous about my MRI next Monday, b) I'm excited about riding, and c) Charlie is getting molars............
