Lake Retreat

We're at the lake.  After a up-all-night kind of night with Millie (thankfully Georgia and Murphy pass out for at least nine hours once their heads hit the pillow!), we were up at 5:45am, completely tired and in a daze.  She has the start of a cold but in my book, that's no excuse for her major attitude!  At least she's a happy camper today so far.  And a camper she will be, outside, tonite if this routine of tossing and turning and saying she has to go potty and having a fit once I take her potty and having another fit when I take her off the potty continues.  Sheesh.

NOTHING on the agenda today besides playing in the sand, going on jet ski rides (not me...not sure how that would fly with the dizziness factor), going on a walk, and of course napping.  This is honestly the first time I looked forward to the lake drive and the two days spent up here.  Usually I am hesitant about coming up just because there are a million things I could do at home, and I'm not one to sit and put my feet up.  This time is different!  After a hellish week, I (WE!!) are ready for some R & R.

The dogs are in heaven - running the beach with their friends.

The kids will be in heaven once they wake up (the well-behaved two anyway) - running the beach with their (K-9 and two-legged) friends.

Gramma Cheryl will be in heaven when she wakes up and gets to babysit the kids all day while Trevor and I watch movies and sleep play with the kids.

Grandpa Tom - well, Gramma says he's excited.  Not sure he likes the scattering of toys all over the main floor by 6:45am.  We (kids and dogs) love playing with him, though. So, there!

Tomorrow night we'll head back to reality to start a crazy busy week for everyone.  Expect lot of pictures...the weather is beautiful this morning!
