Thank you, Weather Man!

For the first time in what seems like forever, we had beautiful weather.  The kind of beautiful I wish would last all year (and it would if we were living in San Diego again!).  Sunny, warm, a little cool breeze...we were outside all day doing sidewalk chalk, digging in the dirt, pulling weeds, planting flowers, trimming maples, hauling yard waste to the dump (thanks, Trevor), and eating popsicles.  We ended the day with a walk up to return movies and, of course, because it's summer break, rent a few more.  The seven of us.  Millie in the Kelty backpack on Trevor, Murph walking Harley, Georgia on her scooter and me walking Mason.  On our way back home it was NOT bedtime, yet Millie was bobble-heading in the backpack, so we opted for a trip to the park to burn a bit more energy before it was really time to crash.  The kids met another family, played hide and seek, ran and ran and ran, slid, climbed, and had a blast.  When we got home they each powered at least two bowls of cereal - and we're talking a few hours after we ate dinner!  Worked up an appetite!  Murph and Trevor were out before their heads hit the pillows.  Millie was soon thereafter.  Georgia wasn't a fan of her movie and watched TV with me (the seven minutes I stayed awake for).  Hope everyone is well rested because we're in for yet another gorgeous day!  On the agenda: tilling, weeding, coffee with a friend (I think I deserve a break!), and the basement storage room project.  Trevor will be looking forward to going back to work tomorrow!
