We finally made it out of
our pajamas the house yesterday and headed to the Spokane Club. I was excited to learn the "play area" was open all afternoon (they weren't taking their normal 2:30-3:30 break because of camps going on). That meant I could shower after working out! I checked the kids in and headed upstairs for a treadmill walk and some weights. I hopped in the shower afterward and headed over to get dressed. I bent over to put the towel on my head and....I hit the floor! The room was spinning and I was down. I bonked the side of my head on the corner of the locker and my forehead on my carpet. Down and out. I called for help and a nice lady brought me ice water, and the cleaning lady brought me a fan. A few minutes after sitting and resting I felt sick and threw up. By this time I ran into a childcare lady who stayed with me and got her phone so I could call Trevor. (Side note: I'm NEVER without my phone, and it was lost in the cushions of our couch that morning. I figured - it was a quick trip to the club, and I could continue the search after we got home). Another lady brought me ice in a towel for my neck. Trevor headed downtown to take me to the ER, and the kids were orphaned in the play area for what turned out to be a total of six hours. I was feeling better - still a bit dizzy - but because I threw up twice after bonking my head, we figured it would be safer to be checked out. Heart tests, blood work, blood pressure (although low, which is usual) and fetal monitoring came back normal. The doctor suggested I visit an Ear, Nose and Throat doctor, as he believes I have positional Vertigo. Add one more thing to the list. I can't believe there is something else now. Have I not been through enough!? Now I'm afraid to shower. :0) There, that'll be my excuse. My hair is greasy because I'm afraid to shower! Probably won't be very well received.
Thanks to the play area, my kids were taken care of and fed dinner, entertained and so ready for bed by the time Trevor went to pick them up. Some people are so nice!!
I think, aside from violin this afternoon, we are going to take it easy today. I think I get a pass from working out for the day!
